Winged Isis Necklace by Museum Reproductions
This pendant necklace features Isis, the wife of Osiris and mother of Horus. She had magical powers of healing; she was able to heal wounds, even to revive humans from death. Also associated with Hathor, Isis was revered as a mother goddess and most statues of Isis include the crown of a solar disk with the cow horns that represent Hathor. Jewelry in the image of Isis most often included outstretched wings to represent the far reach of her powers. The ancients also adored Lapis Lazuli, thought to represent the heavens, so the addition of this stone is meant to extend the magical powers of Isis to the afterlife.
